If you love crafts and want to help people in your community, volunteer at Achieve Australia. You'll support people living with a disability who are working in its Sewing Basket program. They sell donated fabrics, patterns, patchwork, knitting, yarn, and embroidery materials. You could join the team of volunteers from the community. You'll work alongside the supported employees using and teaching your skills. You can help with crafts, sewing, and needlework. Or you can work in the retail stores in Kincumber, Newington, Balmain, and Caringbah. It’s a wonderful way to stay active and involved and meet like-minded people.
