ACON
Check the organiser's website for pricing information.
ACON helps LGBTQ people take control of their health so they can look after themselves as well as their partners, family, and friends. Volunteering is a great way to meet other like-minded people, get an insight into ACON’s work, and contribute towards making our community better. No matter who you are or what your skill level is, there are lots of ways to get involved. If you love talking to people, you can get involved in roles such as health promotion or events. Or you can join the volunteer visitors scheme where you help to reduce social isolation felt by older members of the LGBTQI community. There is also the Love Project. It helps LGBTQ seniors to lead healthy, active, and more social lives. Volunteers help with administrative tasks and support community events and activities. Volunteer for ACON and help make a positive difference to people in your community. You’ll stay active, learn new things, and make new friends.
