Active Ageing

Active Ageing
This small‑group exercise program is designed to help people aged 55 and over stay strong, steady and independent. Classes focus on building strength, balance, coordination and fitness, which can help reduce the risk of falls and make everyday activities easier.
Exercises are tailored to each person, so you can work at your own pace, whether you are new to exercise or returning after a break. Sessions may include gentle strength training, balance activities and light cardio to support heart health, bone strength and joint movement.
Being active in a small group also supports mental and social wellbeing. You can enjoy friendly company, build confidence and stay motivated by exercising with others. Regular movement has also been shown to support memory, thinking skills and mood as we age.
This program is a great option if you want to stay active, feel more confident on your feet and support your overall healthy ageing in a safe and supportive environment.
