If you have some spare time to give and would like to help save the lives of koalas in your region, try volunteering for the cause. You’ll be making a positive difference in the lives of wildlife and helping injured, sick, and orphaned animals. You could volunteer to work on the hotline. You’ll join the team to take some of the thousands of calls each year to help a range of wildlife species and other animals in need. Training and support will be provided for you to provide advice and organise rescue and other assistance. You might prefer to get outdoors and help with hands-on rescuing a range of animals in need. Or you can work in the centre’s vet clinic, in research, education, and admin. It’s a rewarding way for you to give back to a cause, stay active and involved, and get to know others in your community.
