Adult Migrant English Program AMEP TAFE TAS

The Adult Migrant English Program provides free English lessons to migrants and refugees. Volunteer as an English tutor if you have some spare time and would like to help people settle in Australia. You can volunteer as a home tutor, a classroom assistant, and in after-class tutoring. You don’t need to speak another language or be a teacher. You’ll teach speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills for everyday living. You can teach people about Australian society, culture, and customs. Volunteering is a wonderful way to help your local community and use your life skills for good. You’ll have a positive impact, stay active, learn new things, and meet many different people.
