Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme NSW and ACT

Become a volunteer aged care visitor for a rewarding and life-changing experience. As a volunteer visitor, you will make friends and help people who may be feeling isolated and lonely. It’s a wonderful way to share ideas and stories and make a real difference in someone’s life. You would usually visit for an hour once a fortnight for a chat, at a time that suits you both. You can visit people in their own home, an aged care home, or outside. Volunteers from all backgrounds are needed as there is a wide range of people to visit. It’s a great way for you to connect to your community and make an impact. Contact your local Department of Health and Aged Care or complete the online form on the website provided for more information.
