Visit your local aquatic centre to enjoy lap swimming in one of the two pools. Lap swimming is a great way to improve your heart health, overall strength, and fitness, and you can take it at your own pace. Or you can join one of the group aqua fitness classes for a fun workout in the pool. There is a 25m pool and an eight-lane 50m pool. The water is heated to a minimum of 27 degrees during the swimming season. If you need it, wheelchair access ramps enable easy access to the pool. There's a kiosk to buy food and drinks or you can use the covered tables and barbeques for a social get together after your swim.
