Animal Welfare League AWL NSW

Animal Welfare League AWL NSW
If you love animals and would like to help improve the wellbeing of shelter animals, try volunteering at the AWL. As a Volunteer Animal Attendant, you will need a certain level of physical fitness but there are many other roles you can choose. You can help with a variety of tasks such as cleaning animal enclosures or walking and socialising animals. You’ll be checking and topping up water bowls, working in the laundry, and dishwashing. You can also assist with grooming and bathing, pooper scooping, and feeding the animals. And the best part is that you’ll also provide important social and physical enrichment. If you don’t want to work hands-on with the animals you can still volunteer at events, in fundraising, admin, and marketing. It’s a wonderful way to give back and get involved in something you love. You’ll meet plenty of like-minded people and stay active. You can volunteer in branches across NSW. Find out more and apply via the website provided.
