Aruma Disability Services

Aruma offers recreational, social, educational, and work-related support to people with disabilities. If you have some spare time, volunteer with Aruma and lend a helping hand to people who need extra support. You can join as a Recreation Volunteer to provide support to Aruma staff in their duties at the weekend social group outings. Or you can act as a Host Volunteer and enjoy one-on-one time with Aruma customers for coffee and sharing stories. You’ll spend time with someone for a few hours each month, getting to know them to help them enjoy home and community life. Or if you have specific skills, get in touch to organise to share a skill or hobby with customers with a disability. Volunteering is a rewarding experience, and you’ll enjoy giving back to the community. You’ll keep active and involved and meet plenty of people.
