Volunteer support

Australian Refugee Volunteers ARV

Australian Refugee Volunteers improves the lives of children and families from asylum seeker and refugee backgrounds. ARV runs monthly excursions for children and teens from a refugee or asylum seeker background. You can help to collect children, bring them together as a group for the activity, and then drop them home at the end of the day. If you would like to help the organisation in other ways, you could join a team of volunteers. There are admin duties, training, fundraising, and grant applications to write. It’s a wonderful way to give back to your community and help people to feel at home. You’ll stay active and involved, and you’ll meet many people along the way.

Check the organiser's website for pricing information.
