Banyule Council

Banyule Council
Volunteering for Banyule Council means what you do every day makes a real difference in the local community. You can help in a wide range of interesting roles and share your life skills with others. You could work at one of the many festivals and events, help at an art gallery, or assist at a playgroup. If you like the outdoors, you can be a Gardens for Wildlife guide or bushland worker bee. And if you like older people, you can brighten someone’s day with a regular social visit to an older person in their home. You’ll enjoy a cuppa, a chat, a game, or a gentle walk. It’s a wonderful way to provide companionship to someone who may feel lonely, and you’ll make a new friend. Volunteering for your council is a great way to get to know your community, stay active, and feel a sense of purpose.
