The Barwon Health Social Support Program offers a warm, caring environment for older Australians. It’s a great place to gather, socialise, and make new friends. You can join a variety of group activities such as community outings, nutrition and cooking, woodwork, and arts and crafts. You can keep your mind sharp with the brain gym and listen to guest speakers. To keep fit and active, you can try music and dance, and exercise and movement sessions. There are regular gardening and nature activities, and you can have some fun with indoor and outdoor games. It’s a wonderful place to stay active and improve your overall wellbeing. The program is low-cost with morning tea and a three-course lunch provided each day. Programs run from three sites in the Geelong region - Anglesea, Belmont, and Corio from 10am to 3pm.
