Beseda is the Czechoslovak-Australian Association of Canberra and it’s a great place to get together to socialise. You can connect to the culture and meet other Czechs in the region. The club organises cultural, social, and sporting activities. You can try Czech and Slovak language classes to help revive and maintain the language and cultural heritage. You can have fun playing table tennis in the evenings or joining their sports afternoons. There are movie afternoons, Czech cooking classes, exhibitions, and a library with Czech and Slovak books. You can also join celebrations, festivals, and events throughout the year.
