If you have some spare time and would like to help improve the lives of older people in your area, volunteer at BASScare. You can join BASScare's day trips and help by accompanying and sometimes driving clients on fun outings. The outings are run from 10am to 4pm each Tuesday fortnightly and your lunch is provided. If you prefer, you can drive and deliver Meals on Wheels to older people living at home. You can also brighten someone’s day with a regular visit to an older person for a cuppa, a chat, and a gentle walk. It’s a wonderful way to make new friends, keep active, and feel a sense of purpose
