Berowra Library Knitting Club

Berowra Library Knitting Club

This community social group offers a welcoming space for people aged 65 and over to connect, relax, and enjoy time with others. The group meets regularly to share conversation, laughter, and simple activities such as games, crafts, guest talks, or morning tea. You can join in as much or as little as you like, at your own pace.

Taking part in a social group supports healthy ageing in many ways. Spending time with others helps reduce loneliness and keeps your mood positive. Friendly conversations and group activities can also support memory, thinking skills, and confidence. Gentle activities and outings encourage people to stay active without pressure.

The group is open to people from all backgrounds and abilities, and new members are always welcome. Whether you are looking to make new friends, stay connected to your community, or simply enjoy a regular routine, this social group provides a safe, supportive, and enjoyable way to stay socially and emotionally well as you age.
