If you love animals and have some regular spare time, volunteer at BARC. It's a lot of fun and highly rewarding. By helping rescued animals you’ll be giving them a better chance of finding their forever home and making their time at BARC even more enjoyable. You can help with walking dogs and taking them for a run and play in the off-leash areas. You'll socialise the dogs in play groups and assist with brushing, washing, and clipping. You can give the cats lots of tender loving care and spend time with them to increase their chance of adoption. They also need your help with grooming and social enrichment. Or if you don't want to work hands-on with the animals, you can take photos or help with events at the shelter. It's a wonderful way to give back to the community, help animals in need, keep active, and meet people. Contact the shelter to volunteer or find out more.
