The Boambee East Community Centre Chin Waggers Club is a weekly social event for older people in the local area. The club offers members a monthly excursion, guest speakers, and a newsletter. The centre also runs a range of community activities. These include an astronomical society, the Bowerbird Quilters group, and a craft group. There is also a dance group, a community garden, and much more. It's a great way to stay active and meet people in the community.
