Join your local men’s shed to connect to other men in the area, chat, and stay active. It’s a place for men to engage in hands-on activities and interact with other men. You can work on community or personal projects and develop a sense of meaning and value. There is often a range of tools to use in the shed for wood or metalworking. You can also enjoy sharing skills, training, socialising, and having a cuppa and a chat. At Branxton, there’s wood and metalwork, small motors, and gardening. Join the friendly group on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am to noon. There’s also a women’s group at the shed to enjoy raft, conversation, and company. Join the women’s group on Tuesdays from 9am to noon.
