Bushcare Volunteering City of Parramatta

If you have some spare time and like to get out into the environment, try volunteering with Bushcare. Bushcare is a volunteer-based, environmental conservation program. It is coordinated and supported by the City of Parramatta. Join a local bushcare group to care for a nearby bushland reserve. You’ll meet in a group once a month to help with weed removal, habitat restoration, and tree planting. You could be watering plants, surveying, and habitat monitoring. Or you can help with weed mapping, planting, or community education. It’s a wonderful way to keep active, meet like-minded people, and give back to your community. Register your interest online via the council’s website link provided or contact them for more information.
