Visit your local community centre to join some of their regular friendly activity groups. Everyone is welcome regardless of background and culture. Try the CENTACLUB every Wednesday morning from 9.30am for a fun and educational social group for women over 50. It’s a great way to meet other women and develop friendships. It’s a friendly environment with a safe and encouraging atmosphere. Or you can join the LUNA Program on Friday mornings from 9am to improve your social networks, communication, and knowledge. Or if you like to get creative, visit the Coffee Chat and Craft group. The group meets weekly on Mondays from 9am to knit, crochet, and scrapbook. Bring your own project and enjoy the company of others in a social setting.
