Canberra Chess Club

Canberra Chess Club
Join your local chess club if you like to play this strategic game. Playing chess is an ideal activity for older people. It can improve your brain function and problem solving skills. It will give you a mental workout, helping to keep your mind active, and playing regularly can reduce the risk of dementia. It's also a great way to connect to other players in your area, make friends, and socialise. Join other players at the Canberra Chess Club at the Southern Cross Club in Phillip on Thursdays at 6.45pm. The club welcomes players of all strengths. Check with the club before attending in case the date, time, or venue has changed.
