Cardinia Leisure Walking Group

Cardinia Leisure Walking Group
The Cardinia Leisure Walking Group is a friendly, welcoming walking group for people who want to stay active and social. The group meets regularly at the Cardinia Leisure Centre in Pakenham and enjoys a relaxed walk together in the local area. Walks are usually 30–45 minutes at a medium pace, with options that suit different fitness levels. The route is wheelchair friendly, making it accessible for many people.
Walking is a simple and gentle way to support healthy ageing. It helps keep your heart strong, improves balance and mobility, and can boost energy levels. Walking with others also supports mental and emotional wellbeing by reducing stress and helping you feel connected. Many participants enjoy chatting during the walk and sometimes socialising afterwards, which is great for building friendships and reducing loneliness.
This is a free, community-led group supported by the Heart Foundation. It is a great option if you want to move more, feel better, and enjoy the company of others in a safe and supportive setting.
