The modern Men’s Shed is an updated version of the shed in the backyard that has long been a part of Australian culture.

Not all Men’s Sheds are the same but there is always a great range of activities to join. You can make furniture, restore bicycles for a local school, make Mynah bird traps, fix lawn mowers, or make a cubby house for Camp Quality to raffle.

It's a place for young men to work with older men to learn new skills. There's an area for you to learn to cook and use computers to contact family and keep up to date. You might see local elders making traditional weapons or designing arts and crafts.

Or you can just have a cuppa and a chat with other men.
