If you have some spare time and want to get involved in your community, try volunteering. There are many ways to volunteer your time and skills in the City of Melton. It's a great way to make new friends, contribute to the community, share your knowledge, and practise your skills. You can get involved by joining a committee, an environmental program, or becoming a sports coach. You could help in the Volunteer Driving, Social Support program, or Food Services. You can assist with the Ageing Well program and in Men’s Sheds. You can offer driving lessons for recently arrived refugees, or you can visit older people who may be lonely, for a chat and a cuppa.
