Co.As.It. provides community care services for the general and multicultural communities. If you have some spare time and would like to lend a hand and help your community, try volunteering.

You could work in a wide range of roles including admin, social activities programs, dementia, and carers’ support. You’ll enjoy staying connected and making a real difference in the lives of other people.

You could join the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme, affectionately known as “Adopt a Nonna or Nonno.” It relies heavily on many volunteers to visit residents in aged care facilities and in their own homes who may be lonely or isolated due to language barriers. You’ll brighten someone’s day with a regular visit for a cuppa and a chat.

It’s a wonderful way to stay active and involved and make friends in your area.
