Conservation SA Reef Watch

If you’re interested in the conservation of your state’s marine environment, volunteer for Reef Watch. Reef Watch trains community volunteers to check SA reefs and to gather data for valuable scientific information.

You can help by diving or snorkelling to gather information. Or if you can’t do this, you can help monitor intertidal reefs by walking the reefs on the coast.

You could be one of their boat operators, public speakers, admin personnel, function organisers, fundraisers, website editors, or even help cook the barbeque.

It’s a great way to stay active, keep busy, and socialise. You’ll learn new things and meet plenty of like-minded people whilst having a positive impact on the reef.
