CURA Community Visitors Scheme

Originally the Dutch Australian Community Service of WA, CURA now provides a Community Visitors Scheme for older Dutch people.

CURA organises volunteers who offer regular social visits to people who live at home. It’s ideal for people who may be socially isolated or at risk of loneliness.

You can either volunteer or organise to receive a regular visit for company. Volunteers provide companionship and friendship so it’s a great way to stay connected to the Dutch culture.

You may just have a coffee, a chat, play a game, or go for a gentle walk.
