If you have musical talent and can sing, consider joining the Cygent Singers. Cygnet Singers is a choir of approximately 50 voices, based in the town of Cygnet in Tasmania’s Huon Valley. The group sings in several languages such as Hebrew, Italian, Welsh, and Latin. The repertoire ranges through time from the 16th century to the present day. The program draws from church music, art song, folk song, and musical theatre. You can also enjoy the group's social side, chatting before and after rehearsal, gathering for meals, and marking birthdays. It's a wonderful way to connect with like-minded artists in the area and make new friends.
