If you can play an instrument, join the Darwin Celtic Music Sessions. The players meet on the second Sunday of the month at the Lucky Bat in Nightcliff from 4-8pm.
You can play traditional folk music and join their slow session from 4pm - 5pm. If you go along early, you can enjoy sharing your favourite tunes at a comfortable pace. The regular session starts at 5pm, with Irish, Scottish, American, and other traditional tunes and folk songs.
It’s a wonderful way to play music and meet like-minded people. The Facebook page will keep you up to date about other music sessions, festivals, and events so it’s a great place to go to keep active and connected to other Irish people in the NT.
