If you want to get to know your community better, try volunteering for your local council. Join a team of people who are making a difference by volunteering in a wide range of tasks that help the Council provide services and programs.

You could volunteer at the Port MacDonnell Community Complex or Youth on Wheels. Or you can help with reserve maintenance and Tourism and Cultural activities.

It’s a wonderful way to stay active and involved. You’ll keep busy and enjoy having more purpose, learning new things, and you’ll meet lots of people in your area.
