Doggie Rescue

For many years Doggie Rescue and a group of volunteers have been rescuing and rehoming dogs. Join a dedicated team of volunteers who are always in desperate need of extra hands to help care for animals.

You could help with dog walking, animal transport, and in customer service. Or you can work as a kennel hand, feeding, cleaning, and enriching the lives of shelter animals.

You can also pick up laundry from the shelter, take it home, and bring it back folded when convenient, or visit the shelter between 10am to 3pm Tuesday to Sunday to help with hanging up laundry and folding once dry.

You’ll make a world of difference to the lives of the shelter animals and the staff caring for them. Volunteering will give you a sense of achievement, helps you to meet people, and you’ll enjoy getting active and being involved.
