Easy Care Gardening Volunteering

Join this aged care provider as a valued volunteer to help with their older clients’ gardening. You will keep them tidy, safe, and enjoyable.

You’ll weed, prune, and mulch gardens to make them low maintenance. You’ll make things easier for an older person in your community. Gardens are available five, half days per week and you don’t need to organise anything.

A gardening shift is for three hours, and you’ll receive training if you need it. You can decide when and how often you garden. The role is very flexible - you can fit in volunteering around your other commitments.

You just need to be active, friendly, and enthusiastic. You can enjoy a chat and a cuppa when you visit, and you’ll meet lots of people.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to give back to the community, keep busy, and connect.
