Join a group of volunteers at Foodbank to pack food and grocery orders to distribute to people in need. From sorting and labelling items to stocking shelves and packing food orders, you will help to fight hunger with Foodbank.

You can volunteer at the Brooklyn or Yarraville warehouse from Monday to Friday, 9am to 2.30pm. There is an early shift from 7am to 12.30 pm if you are an early riser. You need to wear comfortable casual clothes suitable for the warehouse.

If you are unable to lift heavy items, you can help in the office, customer service, and deliveries. Or you can offer school cooking classes in your area. You can also support Foodbank by fundraising or hosting a food drive.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to stay active and useful and to meet people in your area.
