The Freedom Health and Wellness Centre holds many exercise classes for older people.
These include Staying Active, yoga, and tai chi. Staying Active is a low to moderate intensity class. You will use hand held weights, balls, and resistance bands. It improves your strength, coordination, and balance, and is a good way to socialise with others.
Freedom Health and Wellness is also involved with the Get Active program, managed by Womensport and Recreation Tasmania Inc.
