Friends of Refugees

Friends of Refugees helps people seeking asylum in Australia who have often fled their homes. It provides the support they need to pick-up-the-pieces and start all over again. If you would like to make a difference to the lives of refugees in your area, volunteer for the organisation.

You’ll enjoy giving back to the community and sharing your time and skills. You can assist as a Sewing Instructor, Childcare Volunteer, or in admin/reception. You can help as a Material Aid/Food Aid Coordinator, Events Coordinator, or Fundraiser.

If you prefer, you can help with tutoring in English etc, or work as a Grants Writer.

There’s so much to do to keep you busy and involved. You’ll stay active, enjoy a sense of purpose, and meet lots of people.
