If you love animals and have some spare time, volunteer to help at GAWS. It’s a wonderful way to help homeless animals and work with a team of passionate people.

There is always so much to do so you will keep busy, and you’ll stay active. You might help staff to keep the animal enclosures clean, keep them fed and watered, and most importantly, provide the animals with enrichment and socialisation.

You could help with the laundry, washing, drying, and folding clean towels and blankets. You can also help with dog walking, gardening, maintenance, admin, and in the op shops.
