German-speaking Aged Services

German-speaking Aged Services provides community services to people aged over 65 in Adelaide. Priority is for people who speak German, but it is an inclusive and very welcoming service provider.

They offer seniors groups including transport and meals. Also, there's in-home social support including shopping. You can join in outings, special events like music groups, or celebrations throughout the year.

You can also arrange to have visits by volunteers to provide you with friendship and companionship if you are living at home. Or if you have time on your hands, you can try volunteering. You'll visit an elderly person at home or in a residential facility to brighten their day.

Or you might assist with transporting people to one of the seniors’ groups.

It’s a wonderful way to stay connected and active with other German speaking locals.
