Gold Cost Regional Botanic Gardens

Gold Cost Regional Botanic Gardens
Discover fascinating plant stories and learn which regional plants are endangered in the wild.
Explore the bushfood forest and gum tree corridor, or step back in time with local history on a free guided walk at the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens. Regular walking is a great low-impact exercise for older people. You may see some of the many birds, native bees, or butterflies in the gardens.
You can join a guided walk with one of their volunteer guides or meet your guide at the "Friends’ Centre" at 10am. Walks and talks include a basic history of the site. Walks are generally 45 minutes to an hour.
Tours are not available December and January due to the heat.
