The Greek Welfare Centre offers a 60’s and Better Program for Greek seniors in Brisbane.

The 60’s and Better Program focuses on increasing older people’s awareness of healthy options. You can join the Social Outings Group. You can be picked up from your home and spend the day at morning tea, lunches, or day trips.

You can also join the Community Visitors Program to help out and meet other Greeks. The program works with Greek speaking residents in aged care facilities who may be isolated. They may have little contact with their family or friends or due to cultural and language barriers.

You can volunteer to help the program and spread some joy and good conversation to other older Greeks.
