If you have some spare time to give and you are physically active, consider volunteering for Habitat for Humanity.
Volunteer roles are available in many different regions across NSW. You can spend a day in the most fulfilling way supporting vulnerable people in the community.
Volunteers help to support families affected by bushfires and prepare homes for the bushfire season. Or you can help with repairs and maintenance for community and crisis accommodation. You can get involved in renovations, landscaping, gardening, or minor repairs.
You’ll be helping people who have lost their homes, are escaping domestic violence, or recovering from disasters. Habitat will always find a task for you to do that is within your capabilities and level of comfort. You can choose to volunteer from one day per year to three or four times a week.
It’s a great way to keep active in your community and help people in need.
