iLA acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands, skies, and waters throughout Australia and the Torres Strait where we live and work. We specifically acknowledge the Whadjuk Noongar people as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which our head office sits, in Boorloo (Perth), Noongar Boodja (Western Australia).

We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities across Australia, and their Elders past and present.

We are committed to walking together to develop culturally safe information and initiatives that enable people to make informed choices and connections, and support strong, self-determining communities.

HeartFIT is a fitness program designed especially for older adults who want to stay active, healthy, and connected. The classes are suitable for people returning to exercise or looking for a gentle way to improve their fitness. Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace in a friendly and supportive environment.

Classes are led by qualified exercise professionals and focus on safe, low to moderate intensity activity. Regular participation can help improve strength, balance, flexibility, endurance, and overall physical wellbeing. These benefits can support healthy ageing by helping people stay independent and confident in their daily lives.

HeartFIT also offers valuable social connections. Many participants enjoy meeting like-minded people in their local community and building new friendships. The welcoming group environment can support mental and emotional wellbeing, helping people feel more connected and engaged.
