Your local senior citizens club has a variety of social and fun activities for older residents. All are held in a friendly, relaxed and welcoming environment.
Regular lunches and dinners are provided, or you can just drop in for a coffee and a chat to keep you connected to people in your area. You can join an 'art 4 fun' weekly painting class, work on a sewing project in a group or simply enjoy a social game of cards.
The centre holds occasional bus trips and outings for something completely different and a great fun day out.
There's also a variety of exercise sessions for older people. Classes include line dancing for a fun way to keep fit and active. They are low impact and ideal for beginners.
There's a walking group to enjoy the company of other people in the outdoors. Or you can try chair Pilates if you are not keen on floor or standing exercises and need some extra support.
