If you love reading and would like to meet like-minded people in the area, join the local library book club. Lively discussion takes place as they focus on a different book each session.

The book clubs follow a simple formula: gather people, pick a book, read, and meet to discuss. The Boorowa library book club is held on the first Thursday of the month at 10am.

There’s also a range of other social activity groups to join. These include a writing group if you have a book to write or you have writing experience that you can share with others.

Or join a friendly drawing group for both novices and experienced artists.

There’s a social coffee, chat, and colouring group and a knitting group, where you can enjoy the fun and friendship of working on a project in a group.
