Check the organiser's website for pricing information.

The Jack Young Centre offers social activities, exercises, and games for people 50 and over. It's a great place to keep active and socialise with locals.

You can play scrabble, darts, and backgammon, and enjoy a chat between rounds. There is a craft group, a ukulele group, a friendship group, multicultural groups, and creative writing to try.

You can also keep fit and healthy in tai chi classes, a dance exercise class, and a walking group to enjoy a gentle walk and talk. There are Prime Movers and Strength for Life sessions which are both low-impact exercise classes that are ideal for older people.

There is so much to choose from at the centre so it's best to check in advance what's on.

The low-cost Seniors Centre Membership gives you access to three senior centres and the communal garden. You can visit the centre and try the activities before deciding to become a member and the first session is free.
