Jilamara is owned and governed by Tiwi artists from Milikapiti community on Melville Island. It’s a place for artists and community members to gather, create, and yarn.
The art centre is a supportive workplace to learn new skills and earn money to support family. Go along to the creative and cultural hub of the Milikapiti community.
You can go to workshops and training, get support, and representation. The art centre is an important place for young people to learn from their Elders. The centre represents the artwork of around 60 active artists.
