Kirrip Aboriginal Elders / Respected Persons Group is a place where First Nations Elders can come together to enjoy a cup of tea and have a yarn with no kids or interruptions. It’s just for First Nations Elders, aged over 45 and they meet every Tuesday from 11am to 1.30pm. There’s also a Men’s Group every second Wednesday from 5pm for about 90 minutes. It’s a safe space for First Nations men to come together to yarn and connect to culture. For women, there is a Women’s Group every second Friday from 11am to 2pm for women to share stories and have a yarn. And everyone is invited to join the regular free bingo games every Tuesday at 1.30pm for some lively fun.
