Join the Historical Society if you’re interested in the rich history of the region. Volunteer to help the society or if you need help with your own family history research. The Kojonup Historical Society tells the stories of both the Noongar Aboriginal people and the settlers of the Kojonup district. The society has the responsibility for three buildings. The Military Barracks, Elverd Cottage, and the Old Post Office. These hold displays of valuable and significant artefacts. There is also archival material, documents, and photos. It’s a great way to meet like-minded people in the area. You can help assist other groups in the community, travellers and researchers.
