Social handshake

Legacy SA

Try volunteering for Legacy to help make a difference in the lives of families of people who served our country. Legacy is often looking for passionate people to lend their time, share their skills, and assist in various activities. You could become a community visitor and check in with the people that Legacy helps. You’ll help make sure that they’re socially connected and have the support they need. You can help to raise awareness for Legacy in the community and collect donations. You can help in admin by answering phones, assisting with bulk mailouts, filing, data entry, and other office tasks. Or you can be a friendly voice on the phone at the contact centre and call Legacy widow(er)s for a chat. Volunteering is a rewarding experience where you will keep active, feel useful, and meet many people along the way. It’s a wonderful way to give back to your community. There are 44 Legacy Clubs in Australia. Visit the website provided to find a branch near you, and volunteer today.
