Leigh Place is a charity that provides aged care support in Roselands, Canterbury Bankstown, and St George areas. Volunteering at Leigh Place is dynamic, fun, and is based on your skills. You will be helping to enhance the lives of older people who may be at risk of loneliness and isolation. You could help in roles such as bus driver, photographer, or marketing coordinator. Or you can help as an activities team support, lifestyle support officer, and more. You could find yourself escorting residents on outings, gardening, or helping with technology. You may simply offer company and conversation to brighten up a resident’s day. However you can help, and no matter how much time you can donate, you will be valued and part of a team. You’ll be giving back to the community, and you’ll meet many interesting people along the way.
