Join the local Historical Society if you’re interested in the rich history of the Goldfields region. The society is run mostly by volunteers. You can get involved in preserving, contributing to, or researching archives and collections. Each year, members help hundreds of visitors and researchers learn about the region and the people who built it. The society is always looking for new members and volunteers. Existing members can provide advice and training. It’s a great way to learn new things, meet local people, and get involved in the community.
